As some of you know, last Thursday I attended the "Meet & Critique" at "The Right Light Studio". During this meet, a few brave souls dropped their names in a hat in hopes of having there images critiqued by the experts. If you haven't done this before let me tell you, it can be nerve racking. My name was drawn from the hat and for the first time I had my precious images dissected and evaluated by the experts in front of a group of about twenty photographers. I appreciated the honesty and professionalism of the critique. Of the ten images I presented, four were critiqued. Based on the tips that were shared on what would make my images better, I re-edited a couple as practice. I wanted to take advantage of the information given to me while it was still fresh in my memory.
Here are the two images I selected to re-edit "before critique" and "after critique".
Before Critique
After Critique (I removed the flies from nose and darkened a little of the highlights from the left center of image)
Before Critique
After Critique (Repositioned skyline and re-cropped image to a 6x17 panoramic format)
